Contemplative Freemasonry

Operative in construction and speculative in symbol, Contemplative Masonry explores the Inner Self through Freemasonry's teachings in the Lectures and Ritual. Using King Solomon's Temple in allegory building his physical and spiritual Temple, the Freemason explores his inner Self transcending to Divine Unity with his Collective Consciousness, living in peace and harmony with all life. Each man must be Raised from the darkness of his bondage residing in his disordered nature.

Wesley served the Grand Lodge of Missouri USA as District 7 Deputy Grand Lecturer in 2004-2005. Revels is published in Missouri Freemasonry and is currently writing and producing a series on Contemplative Freemasonry. This Blog is dedicated to all the Widows, Orphans and Freemasons walking the Mosaic Pavement of life. May we ever remember that Freemasonry's Moral Tenets have always been Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth. "It may be said that Truth is the Column of Wisdom, whose rays penetrate and enlighten the inmost recesses of the Lodge of society; Brotherly Love, the column of strength, which binds us as one family in fraternal affection in the world; and Relief, the column of Beauty, whose ornaments, more precious than the lilies or pomegranates that adorn the pillars of the MOSAIC porch in Solomon's Temple, are the widows tear of joy and the orphan's prayer of gratitude." Albert G Mackey M.D. 33'. It is the interior and not the exterior quality that is important to Freemasons.
